Female Hair Loss and Replacement Specialists
Are you a female who is losing your hair due to Alopecia or other causes?
Tired of letting your hair run your life and schedule?
We can help.
If you're a woman who is suffering from hair loss or baldness due to Alopecia, hormonal changes, cancer treatment, or for any other reason, and are located in or near Kansas City, we can help. We understand hair loss in women is different than it is for men since it is typically considered less common, and societal pressure for women to look beautiful is very high. As uncommon as it may seem, Alopecia is very common in both men and women, and is unfortunately untreatable. If left to run its natural cycle, anyone diagnosed with Alopecia will eventually lose all of their hair. Products may promise to grow your hair back, but people with Alopecia will not see results.
This is where Coltivare can help. Most of our female hair loss clients have gone through some or all of the steps in a process which looks something like this:
- Notice more hair in the sink, bath tub, or on a hair brush.
- Begin to notice slight hair thinning.
- Try various products in order to reverse the thinning process.
- Dye hair blond in order to mask the thinning areas of the scalp.
- Get a new hair style and/or perm.
- Tease, back comb, and fluff up.
- Realize that there is no cure and accept the fact that they will lose their hair.
This is a natural progression that nearly every woman with hair loss from Alopecia goes through. If you have gone through this or a similar progression, call us or fill out our on-line form, and we will set up a time for a free, no pressure consultation. We have many clients with whom you will be able to speak about our service and how we treat people. We even have clients who travel up to two hours to see us on a regular basis, and some of our clients have been with us for almost 20 years. Following is a list of what to expect:
What we will do:
- Free Consultation with our nurse at our office in Overland Park, Kansas.
- We will tell you whether or not your condition can be treated.
- If your hair loss is due to something that is treatable, we will explain your options and provide a reference if necessary to get you treated.
- If not treatable, we will explain our process and show you your options, and if desired, we will schedule a time for you to meet with one of our current clients to give you another perspective on our process so that you can make an informed decision.
- We will give you time to make a decision and you will not be expected or encouraged to commit to anything on your initial visit.
What we won't do:
- Pressure you in any way.
- Make you sign a contract.
- Mislead you in any way.
- Promise to grow your hair back unless we can actually do it.
